A personal introduction

Photography is personal.
So are we.

Sergio Baloha

We’re Sergio Baloha and Marianna, the people behind Baloha Photography. Prague is our base, but our work has taken us through more than 600 weddings in 13 countries over 11 years.

What keeps that work personal is the connection with each couple. A wedding isn’t a template to repeat. Your personalities, your relationships and the atmosphere around you give each story its own shape.

We value sincerity over performance. Rather than recreate a Pinterest reference, we look for the photographs that could only belong to your day. Beauty, for us, starts with something real.

That perspective also sits behind Sergio’s motto: “Simplicity is the key to beauty.”

More than a photographic style

How we see
a wedding day.

What our experience means for the people in front of the camera.

01

A calm presence

A decade of weddings brings experience with changing light, unexpected weather and plans that take a different turn. Being attentive to those changes leaves space for the people and emotions at the centre of the day.

02

Room for what happens

Not every meaningful moment announces itself. A parent’s reaction, a friend’s laugh or the way you look at each other can say as much as a portrait. We pay attention to what unfolds naturally.

03

A story with context

We show complete wedding series because individual highlights only tell part of the story. The quieter photographs, the people around you and the transitions between big moments give the day its rhythm.

What couples notice

An artist’s eye.
A human connection.

The photographs matter. So does the person beside you while they’re being made.

In their review, Michael & Quinn describe Sergio as kind, easy-going and open-minded. They remember him listening from their first meeting, understanding the tone they wanted, and working comfortably alongside their videographers.

They also recall the moments Sergio and Marianna saw around them: their parents’ tears, their friends’ laughter and the atmosphere of their ceremony above Prague. For us, those details are part of what makes a wedding story personal.

Before we meet

You might
be wondering.

What if we don’t usually enjoy being photographed?

Our approach values sincerity over poses. The connection with you matters because we want the photographs to reflect your personalities, rather than ask you to become someone else for the camera.

How can we get a feel for an entire wedding?

Explore a complete series in our portfolio. It shows the range and rhythm of a real day, beyond a small selection of highlights.
